The Plant Apothecary was founded by Chaka, creator, space holder, and community builder, with a deep belief in the power of environment to shape how we feel, think, and create.
What began as a personal love for plants and a desire for more intentional spaces evolved into something bigger: a place where creativity, connection, and culture could live together. Chaka envisioned a space that felt different from traditional studios, one that wasn’t just functional, but restorative. A place where people could not only create, but also feel grounded while doing it.
With a background in building systems and supporting people through complex environments, Chaka brings that same intentionality into TPA, designing experiences that are thoughtful, accessible, and rooted in community. Every detail of the space reflects a simple belief: when people feel good, they create better, connect deeper, and show up more fully.
